Crazy Hair Day, 2013

To support the World’s Greatest Shave, a fundraising event for the Leukaemia Foundation, the kids’ school decided to have a “Crazy Hair Day”.

As usual, our kids went all out.

LR is sporting “rainbow millipede hair”, with a thousand little braids and ponytails of all colours, all over her head.

RJ decided to go with a fierce nest of red liberty spikes, with firey yellow tips.

One day, once they start rebelling, it’ll be all cardigans, knee-high socks and Barry Manilow… and we’ll have to kick them out of the house. Until then, though… Rock on, kids!

They spent days planning their hair. LR very nearly ended up with a nest of insects and bugs, but eventually settled on "Rainbow Millipede Hair". RJ had his mind set on liberty spikes from the beginning, but considered his colour options carefully before settling on red.
