Down South Again!
Last weekend, we took another trip down south — this time much shorter, but still lots of fun. We went exploring a Karri forest, visited a wildlife park and climbed some huge rocks.

Not siblings... Just friends. These are three of the many rescued joeys at the wildlife park.

RJ makes friends with a kookaburra in the aviary.

RJ gets the chance to feed a joey. They're very pushy.

We went for a quick wander through the massive trees of the Karri forest.

We discovered some really interesting seeds from one of the plants on the forest floor.

These trees are tall, but they're only 80 years old. Further south in the old growth forests, the trees are even bigger and older.

Yummmm!!! Stopping at the berry farm for tea and scones is a great way to end the day.

LR and RJ insisted on doing some rock climbing, so we stopped in at Sugarloaf on the way back.

We really wanted to stay for sunset, but had to get back to the house in time for dinner. Maybe next time!

![When the cat’s away - Mum went away last weekend, so it was up to Dad to keep things under control. On Friday night we went to the beach for a quick play, then picked up fish & chips for dinner.
Dad: This single-parent thing is a piece of cake!

In the meantime, here it is. Purdy lil' thang, aint it!

The time I spent with the family was the highlight of my Australia trip! Thank you for sharing space and time with me last month. I treasure these same sights and photos, too. You sure are a good photographer!
