You’ll often hear LR wandering around humming tunes or singing songs to herself. She’s obviously got her own personal soundtrack going on.
For the past two weeks, however, her soundtrack has switched over completely to the Imperial March (from Star Wars). It’s the piece of music that plays whenever Darth Vader enters a scene: dark, ominous, foreboding.
I hope this isn’t a sign of things to come.
LR has been doing some rock climbing lessons with some friends on the weekends. There are two main areas, the really tall climbing walls, where she is harnessed to a rope, and a free-climbing area with no ropes, but padding on the ground. It’s great fun!

Dad: What are you guys up to? Are you ready yet?
RJ: (rushing out of LR’s room) Yes! We are! We’re playing, “Hide and Prawn!”
Dad: What the…
LR: (wanders out, looking confused, wearing one ear plug and airline socks) I don’t know how to play this game.
RJ: It’s okay! I’m teaching you!
